AI Bootcamp, hosted by DevPSU, is a five-week program that will help students obtain a better understanding of what artificial intelligence (AI) is and how it can be used to build solutions to real-world problems. Attendees will be exposed to a variety of AI platforms, as well as existing solutions, and will exit the program with a greater knowledge of how to get started building AI-driven solutions.
The first two sessions run in parallel to the Nittany AI Challenge, a program for teams to explore how to leverage AI to improve the student experience at Penn State, solve real problems that the University is facing, and/or generate innovative startup ideas. Subsequent sessions will introduce the range of AI development platforms and specifically explore IBM Watson. Sessions will be held on Wednesdays, 7:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. for the entirety of the program.
